The Blazing Rhythm project explores ideas to support and promote fire twirling activities. Workshops are held throughout the year for poi and staff twirlers of all skill levels and ages.
Fire nights are held around dusk on the fourth Thursday of every month (except December) at Belgrave Town Park, for Circus Folk members experienced in fire twirling. Drummers are invited to join in for a night of fire, dance and rhythm. Anyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the atmosphere.
In the case of fire restrictions, a fire night may be held using glow equipment. In the case of extremely poor weather, the event may be postponed or cancelled - you can check with Rochelle on 0425 843 471.
Circus Folk coordinates the participation of Blazing Rhythm members in a variety of community performances and events.
Blazing Rhythm members have performed at local festivals including the Knox Festival and the Lantern Parade through the main street of Belgrave.
